At Makachi, we understand the feelings of missing the convenience that Indonesia offers when it comes to getting comfort food easily. Either at mom's kitchen or at street stalls; it is always just right around the corner.
We offer a selection of traditional and authentic Indonesian homemade dishes made with selected ingredients and care (also Halal); considered comfort food by many, like cwie mie, mie ayam jamur, martabak, soto ayam, siomay, tahu telur, lontong sayur, gado-gado, sate ayam, and rendang. Discover more
Variety selections of dishes to make your own favourite nasi campur / rames is also available, or you can choose for rice table; a feast of small, flavorful dishes served with rice. To complete your meal, there's es cendol that is made with real pandan leaves.
You can enjoy our food at the restaurant, and at home with take away, either as complete menu or per 100 gram of various dishes that you prefer, altogether with our traditional snacks such as spekkoek, lemper, risoles, bakwan jagung, and many more.
We are located at De Pijp, near the famous Albert Cuypmarkt and Heineken Brouwerij. It is just 10 minutes from Amsterdam Central Station.
